Description

This was another so entertaining and engaging artwork to do! It's a prize our awesome <a href="piccolaria.deviantart.com"PiccolaRia won in SpadieKitchenQueen's contest. Basically, I donated three custom avatars, others being for Gnewi and DeadlyINtensions, but only Patrick's remained at least a bit avatar-sized. The others should be classified as wallpapers rather :D. I couldn't do otherwise, because the details would vanish. Cristina's prize features her lovely OC Ria, one the main protagonists of her "Kherming Chronicles". Their story is really gripping, so I highly encourage you to check Cristina's gallery to learn more about it.

I told you it was an especially engaging project due to a couple of reasons. Firstly, because I'm not neutral to the characters. I grew to love them :neom:. They're realistic and deeply-thought over. For instance Ria is a brave young woman with quite tomboy attitude to life, although she's devoted and very serious about her work. Therefore I focused on the symbolic meaning. I imagined her after the advertures featured in "Kherming Chronicles" - the folk shoulg consider her a national hero of some sort, so they even gave those lily-coloured flowers name after her - Ria's tears. Secondly, the background consists of two images and the ground, each comes from Zememz. I went completely crazy with them - I messed around with hues, shaders, effects... MS PowerPoint is a truly marvellous and underestimated tool when it comes to graphics. And Ria... Well, I rendered her image myself! I built her over DAZ Genesis figure with some Fae creature morphs, which I find most useful. The rest resources come from the following marvellous stock providers (listed below). Lastly, the commissioner is a wonderful person and I wish all the artists had such employers!

Thank you all so much, I'm delighted to hear you enjoy it! I'm a newbie at DAZ Studio, but it's such a joy to make those thingies :D. And I wouldn't do much without all those cool stocks stock artists provide. They upload dozens of wonderful resources, especially the plants helped a lot to get the "woodsie" effect :giggle:. PowerPoint is an underestimated tool, I think. The effects are similar to those from PhotoShop, but I don't have to pay more as most of users buy MS Office for typical office purposes.
